Beginner Course (12 hours)
The right choice if you have little or no prior experience in other related sports. That’s why the Intensive Beginner Course offers you 4 more hours of instruction than the regular Beginner Course.
In the Intensive Beginner Course, you’ll have 3 to 5 days of instruction (depending on the wind) with a total of 12 lessons. To help you practice and master the movements you’ve learned, we also dedicate plenty of time to training in the second half of the Intensive Beginner Course. In a group of 2 to 6 people, you’ll learn the essential elements of kitesurfing.
For safety reasons, two students share one kite in the beginner course. If you’re making faster progress, you can upgrade to (semi-)private training upon request.
The course is designed so that you can safely practice on your own afterward.
Course Content: - Equipment overview (boards, kites)
- Setting up and taking down equipment
- Safety training (land + water)
- Intensive flying exercises with the kite
- Theoretical basics
- Water start with the board
- Water start of the kite (relaunch)
- Body drags
- Water start with the board
- Riding the first few meters in a crosswind
