Beginner's Course (8 hours)
The right choice for anyone who already has experience with water, snow, and wind sports, or who picks up board sports particularly quickly.
The beginner course consists of 2 to 3 days of instruction (depending on wind conditions), for a total of 8 lessons.
To practice and master the movements you’ve learned, you’ll have plenty of hands-on training time in the second part of the course. In a group of 2 to 6 people, you’ll learn the key elements of kitesurfing. The course is designed so that you can safely practice on your own afterward.
During the course, students share a kite and a board (usually in pairs). For safety reasons, two students share one kite in the beginner course. Those who make faster progress can upgrade to (semi-)private training upon request.
Course Content:
- Equipment overview (boards, kites)
- Setting up and taking down equipment
- Safety training (land + water)
- Kite flying exercises
- Theoretical basics
- Water start with the kite (relaunch)
- Body drags
- Water start with the board
- Riding the onshore wind for the first few meters
Please note: If you book an 8-hour beginner course and no suitable course partner is available, your course will take place as a private lesson and will be adjusted to 5 hours.
